What’s Whirl?

Whirl is a new mobile app built for our community. It’s an attempt to distill the best bits of Instagram (build a profile, post, explore), Discord (gamified daily theme) and Twitter (prompt sharing).

Today, you can do pretty much all the stuff: post, comment, like, save posts, save prompts, explore, join the daily theme, earn points, badges, levels, vote on next theme, etc. Soon, you’ll be able to generate images with DALL-E 3, create monthly prompt list events that others can join, post videos & galleries, add collaborators and more.

It’s been in the works for about a year now in various forms. Couldn’t be more excited for folks to step inside and look around. So… make like this puppy and give it a go! 🤠 

The daily theme has moved to Whirl 🫡 !

After 13 months of Daily theme action in Discord, we bid adieu to Ultron. If you sign in with Discord, your stats will sync up. We plan to be more active than ever across IG, X & Threads, sharing your work posted on Whirl!
